REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a competitive university in Industrial Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of professional experience in project management, technology, supply chain, high-growth operations, or startups
  • Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset, utilizing project management and analytics expertise to independently own and execute projects with a high degree of autonomy
  • Exceptional Communication in English and German
  • Willingness to travel up to 15%
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Market Manager, who will own our multi-city business across Germany with the goal of quickly scaling BIRD’s operations across the region. This individual will oversee operations in Germany and quickly scale our business in the region, and in our cities. This role is essential to ensuring smooth operations, vehicle management, vehicle deployment strategy and field activities. The ideal candidate is action-oriented, hands-on, and driven by data-informed decision-making to enhance operational efficiency and rider experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and execute a market strategy to drive ridership, revenue, and operational excellence.
  • Continuously drive operational improvement through world-class supply management.
  • Partner cross-functionally with other members of the Bird team to measure the impact and efficiency of our projects and experiments.
  • Have the ability to both plan and execute projects of varying urgency and scope with minimal guidance.
  • Effectively communicate with team and cross functional stakeholders through reporting and regular working group meetings.
  • Be a hard-working multitasker, supporting teams in multiple locations. You’ll be one of the go to people when the business requires solutions to fire drills.
  • Oversee daily fleet operations, ensuring optimal vehicle performance, efficiency, and safety.
  • Monitor and analyze operational KPIs, using data insights to drive continuous improvements.
