Responsibilities

YOUR ROLE AT BAXTER:

As a Market Planner at Baxter Healthcare Corporation, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the flawless execution of our supply strategies for key products. This outstanding opportunity allows you to optimize both customer service and financial metrics within Baxter Canada’s supply chain. By collaborating with cross-functional partners, you will build frameworks that optimize working capital and reduce supply chain costs. Your outstanding leadership will drive continuous improvements and the successful implementation of our supply strategies.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Lead the import or manufacturing of finished goods, equipment, and spare parts through strategic relationships with international and intercompany suppliers, as well as other external entities.
  • Develop and lead the deployment plan and execution for the market, analyzing and reporting inventory variances within the country, and being accountable for these metrics.
  • Ensure the accomplishment of critical metrics such as inventory levels, cash flow, service levels, backorder status, discard rates, and overall supply chain expenses.
  • Lead communication strategies with the commercial team concerning low coverage supply issues and back-order risks, and spearhead commercial meetings to review pipelines and manage country fulfillment.
  • Coordinate order management, including monitoring, tracking, and expediting inbound purchase orders (POs) as needed. Collaborate with Network Planners, global logistics, transportation, and warehousing teams to resolve short-term supply issues.
  • Support activities such as change controls, import license registrations, new product launches, product phase-outs, and more, by understanding product setup, registration processes, operational protocols, and market demands.
  • Complete monthly reserve proposals, find opportunities to avoid discard, and ensure the successful implementation of these opportunities.
