For our Media, Analytics & Insights team, we are looking for a Market Research Epert who will partner directly with brand and product marketers to recommend, plan and eecute market research in pursuit of a deeper understanding of customers’ attitudes, beliefs and motivations.
The Market Research Epert will look to pull in customer insights from both traditional market research run at a global level and also non-traditional sources to develop a holistic understanding of what is going on in the hearts and minds of customers.

We are looking for a team member with the following knowledge and eperience:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in marketing or other relevant degree
  • 3+ years professional eperience either on market research company or brand side
  • Data driven attitude: true data curiosity and the ability to derive new insights
  • Strong multitasking, accuracy and prioritizing skills in fast paced environment
  • Creative approach to problem solving; always looking for improvements
  • Fleible, likes to eplore, can handle changes, and not yet set project boundaries
  • Ecellent level in English spoken and written
  • Willing to travel to ING markets, if required
  • Market research eperience; setting-up and the eecution of research projects, preferably quant and qual with a multi-country approach
  • Knowledge of research fundamentals, such as sample representativeness and drafting questionnaires
  • Eperience with brand and comms research
  • Strong project management skills; running multiple projects at the same time
  • Proven eperience of transforming data into actionable insights
  • Eperience with analyzing data tables and reporting using with Ecel and Power Point
  • Strong communication and presentation skills

Responsibilities

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will collaborate closely with the current market research eperts within the team to identify, etract, and translate valuable insights across a range of strategically relevant research programs, whilst also working with your peers in the markets to grow the collective skillset of the ING research community.
Key is your ability to understand the needs of the global teams and markets, translate these into research / insight projects and action them.

Some of the key responsibilities are, but not limited to

  • Advise and interact with cross-team stakeholders on their market research needs and objectives
  • Set-up, manage and eecute market research projects from A to Z, in close collaboration with research team members and key stakeholders
  • Clearly summarize and communicate research findings and able to convert data in appealing visuals that conveys your message and the insight that needs to be shared
  • Partnering up with eternal vendors; such as research & media agencies, consultancies on various global projects
  • Connect research findings to other sources (analytics, media, social listening) to widen the findings and the reach of your insights
  • Help fostering the global insights community, where global and local research collaborate.
