About the role

The Energy Markets & Treasury Risk (EMTR) team provides independent oversight of risks arising from AGL's trading and treasury activities. The team challenges risk-taking activities, monitors adherence to approved policies and limits, and supports effective risk governance across the organisation.

• The Market Risk Analyst supports independent oversight and analysis for a defined commodity or treasury portfolio and contributes to the effective operation of AGL's market and treasury risk management framework. The role covers electricity, gas, environmental products, foreign exchange, interest rate, liquidity and funding risks, and engages with stakeholders across Wholesale Markets, Treasury, Finance and Technology.
