Description MARKET SALES LEADER Responsible for leading negotiation and execution within the Grocery Channel, including independent stores, mass retailers, and wholesalers. This role drives sales growth, market share expansion, and strong customer engagement. Success is defined by profitable growth and continuous improvement in execution The main responsibilities for the position are: Deliver sales, profit, and expense results by monitoring KPIs, controlling costs, and ensuring profitability within the assigned territory. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand business with existing accounts and capture new opportunities in the General Market, Mass Retail, and Grocery Channel. Lead and manage the merchandising or sales team, setting clear expectations, holding reps accountable, and driving productivity and effectiveness. Build and strengthen customer relationships to maximize sales, secure retention, and exceed client expectations. Requirements Qualifications 3+ years of commercial experience in the U.S. food & beverage, CPG, or mass retail industries, with proven success in general market expansion and category growth. Proven experience in route development, key account management, and CRM tools. Strong background in product launches at retail and multicultural team environments. Leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and hold teams accountable. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Results-driven mindset with strong execution and problem-solving abilities. Fully bilingual: Spanish (intermediate or higher) and English (fluent). Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel required); CRM knowledge is a plus. Must have a valid U.S. driver’s license, reliable transportation, and legal authorization to work in the U.S. Availability to travel extensively within the assigned territory Physical requirements: Must be able to walk and move around 2/3 of the time. Using fingers to operate tools and devices. Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on phone and in person.
