Reporting directly to the Senior Regional Sales Manager, you will embody our core values—Team, Service, Integrity, Enrichment, and Results—as you represent our portfolio to clients and community leaders. As the Market Sales Manager, you are the key driver for market share and top-line revenue for your assigned focus hotels. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: * Business Development: Proactively identify and qualify new incremental business opportunities to achieve ambitious growth. * Strategic Travel: This role requires a "boots on the ground" approach, with 80% travel to support hotels based on company needs and opportunities. * Account Management: Cultivate strong relationships with corporate accounts and lead rate negotiations and contracts. * SOAR Collaboration: Manage and oversee daily, weekly, and monthly workflows for regional sales, operations, and revenue (SOAR) partners. * Market Analysis: Maintain expert knowledge of market trends, competition, and customer requirements to propose winning strategies. * Reporting: Complete detailed trip reports after each visit, providing efficient turnover of leads and contacts to Regional Sales Leaders. COMPENSATION & LOCATION * Salary: $80,000 per year + Performance-based incentive program. * Preferred Location: Remote - Southwest Region. Candidates based in Texas, Arizona, or Nevada are strongly preferred. * Status: Full-Time, Exempt. QUALIFICATIONS & ESSENTIAL SKILLS This role requires a proven track record in hospitality sales and the ability to work in a high-pressure, team-oriented environment. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS * Experience: 3–5 years in a management or leadership role, with 3–4 years specifically in hospitality sales. * Proven Track Record: Successfully achieving sales goals and increasing revenue through lead generation. * Communication: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills. * Technical Skills: Intermediate computer proficiency and the ability to analyze business periodicals and technical processes. * Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Undergraduate degree in Business or Marketing preferred). PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORKING CONDITIONS * Endurance: Ability to sit, stand, and walk for approximately 4 hours each in an 8-hour workday. * Movement: Frequent reaching (above and below shoulders), grasping, and climbing stairs. * Lifting: Occasional lifting and carrying of 11–50 lbs. * Environment: Primarily indoors with occasional outdoor exposure and frequent operation of motor vehicles.
