Are you passionate about quality food, enjoy engaging with people, and hold a Class C1 (or higher) driving licence? We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic team member to help deliver our delicious cheeses and outstanding customer service at local markets and through our wholesale network.

ABOUT US

Hania is known for its expertly curated cheese selection and warm, knowledgeable service. We operate vibrant market stalls across three weekly markets and supply to local shops, cafés, restaurants, and pubs.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Valid UK driving licence (Class C1 or above)
  • Basic numeracy skills
  • Food hygiene certificate (desirable – training available)
Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

  • Hours: Part-time (approx. 18.5 hours/week)
  • Friday: 5:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Saturday: 6:30 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Pay: £12.60 per hour
  • Contract: Permanent
  • Location: Based near Stroud, travelling to local markets
  • Application Deadline: Midnight, 16th September 2025

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

This is a hands-on role perfect for someone who enjoys early mornings, great food, and friendly conversations. You’ll be responsible for transporting our cheese van, setting up market stalls, and delivering a memorable customer experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive the cheese van to market locations and set up the stall (includes light/moderate lifting)
  • Serve customers with confidence and friendliness
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout the day
  • Prepare stock for the next trading day upon return
  • Assist with occasional vehicle cleaning (typically Saturdays)
  • Monitor stock levels and report when items need reordering
  • Participate in a monthly deep clean (approx. 2 hours)
