The EU strategist will play a critical role in driving the strategic direction and operational execution within and across Trip.com Regional Markets (Points of Sale). This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, capable of aligning regional objectives with the global strategy of Trip.com and Trip.com Group. The EU strategist will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that strategic initiatives are effectively planned, clearly communicated, and seamlessly implemented.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure governance and compliance with established business model frameworks.
- Develop and maintain robust business models that support regional growth and sustainability.
- Prepare and present strategic documents and reports.
- Engage with stakeholders from the regional teams, HQ functional teams, and HQ cross-BU teams to ensure alignment and support for regional strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate effective communication between regional and HQ teams.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on progress and outcomes.
- Establish and monitor high-level metrics to track the success of strategic initiatives.
- Manage the portfolio of strategic initiatives within the region, ensuring alignment with HQ priorities.
- Develop and align functional and process strategies to support overall goals and enhance operational efficiency.
- Business strategy formulation - create and communicate a clear mission statement for the region.
- Identify and evaluate strategic options to achieve regional objectives.
- Conduct comprehensive external and internal environment assessments (including market trends, competitive landscape, regulatory changes, and internal capabilities).
- Develop and articulate the regional strategic vision in alignment with the global strategy of Trip.com and Trip.com Group.
