KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably in areas such as market surveillance or derivatives operations.
• Strong academic background with a solid understanding of financial markets, market structure, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other analytical tools, with the ability to analyze data and draw meaningful insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• High level of attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.

JOB PURPOSE

ICE Futures Singapore (IFSG) is currently seeking a responsible and diligent individual to join as a Market Supervision Analyst. This role is pivotal in preserving the integrity of the exchange, identifying and mitigating market abuse, and ensuring adherence to Rules, Regulations & Procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Market Supervision: Overseeing and maintaining the integrity of price control mechanisms across various listed products, reducing the likelihood of orders entered in error, preventing the execution of trades at unrepresentative prices, and reducing the market impact of such trades.
• Market Integrity Oversight: Utilizing surveillance tool to monitor trading activities, detect irregularities, and other forms of market abuse.
• Investigation and Enforcement: Conducting thorough investigations into suspected cases of market abuse, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and recommending appropriate enforcement actions.
• Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Assessing potential risks to market integrity and developing strategies to mitigate them, including implementing controls and enhancing surveillance and price control capabilities.
• Helpdesk Support: Providing prompt assistance and support to Clearing Members and participants by addressing queries and resolving trading-related matters effectively and efficiently.
• Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluating and enhancing operational processes, surveillance processes, and methodologies to keep pace with evolving market dynamics and regulatory requirements.
• Collaboration: Working with colleagues in other market supervision and regulation teams around the world, as well as the rest of the exchange and clearing teams in Singapore, on local and global initiatives.
