Description
Description This is a fully remote, virtual role—built for a professional who can operate independently, communicate clearly, and keep projects moving without needing to be in the room. DMI is seeking an Account Manager to lead the coordination and execution of marketing across the organization. With over 35 years of experience in the financial services industry, DMI has built a reputation for delivering high-touch, results-driven marketing and sales support to financial professionals across the country. Our team operates at the intersection of strategy, execution, and real-world advisor needs. This role manages marketing across two key areas: Marketing Support (external, advisor-facing campaigns) Corporate Marketing (internal, B2B initiatives for DMI and RIA Fiduciary Solutions) This is not a design, content, or technical execution role. This is a project ownership and coordination role focused on intake, prioritization, and delivery. Your role is to keep marketing organized, moving, and delivered—without bottlenecks. Core Responsibilities Marketing Intake & Work Management Serve as the central intake point for all marketing requests (external and internal) Translate requests into clear scope, deliverables, and timelines Build and manage a centralized marketing queue using Teamwork Client & Stakeholder Management Act as primary point of contact for marketing support clients Meet clients virtually for marketing overview, ideas, updates and relationship building. Work directly with internal stakeholders (CEO, VP of Sales, VP of Marketing, Content Strategist) Manage expectations, communication, and timelines across all projects Campaign & Project Management Oversee execution of marketing initiatives across: Email campaigns Webinars Landing pages Social and digital initiatives Build timelines, track progress, and ensure on-time delivery Maintain visibility into all active workstreams Internal Coordination Coordinate across: Content Strategist (messaging) Technical Marketing Operator (systems, automation, reporting) Design Bench (creative production) You are responsible for flow—not execution. Corporate vs Marketing Support Awareness Marketing Support (External / B2C): Advisor campaigns, lead generation, events Corporate (Internal / B2B): Recruiting, thought leadership, brand initiatives Success requires balancing both effectively. Execution Oversight Review work prior to launch for accuracy and alignment Identify issues early and resolve proactively Maintain consistency across deliverables Operational Accountability Track marketing activity, timelines, and workload Ensure efficient use of team resources Maintain clear visibility across all projects What This Role Is Not This role does NOT include: Graphic design Copywriting or content creation Technical execution (email builds, CRM workflows) This role owns coordination, prioritization, and delivery. Requirements Qualifications 4–8+ years in marketing, account management, or project management Experience managing multiple clients or stakeholders simultaneously Strong understanding of marketing workflows and campaign execution Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills Experience with CRM and project management tools (Salesforce, GoHighLevel, Teamwork preferred) Financial services or B2B experience is a plus What We Value DMI is a goal-oriented but enjoyable place to work, where: Teamwork drives results Transparency is expected Ideas are encouraged and heard We believe strong outcomes come from clear communication, mutual respect, and a team that enjoys building together. Success Metrics Campaigns delivered on time (90%+ target) Clear visibility into all marketing work Strong client and stakeholder satisfaction Reduced internal bottlenecks Compensation Base salary: $70,000 – $85,000, based on experience and fit. Final Positioning This role sits at the center of how marketing operates at DMI. You are not responsible for creating the work. You are responsible for ensuring the work gets done—correctly, efficiently, and on time. If you thrive on organizing complexity and driving execution across multiple stakeholders, this role is built for you.
