Tidewater plans to achieve its business objective by providing customers with a full service, vertically integrated value chain, including gas plants, pipelines, railcars, export terminals, storage, downstream facilities, and various renewable initiatives.
Tidewater has an immediate opening for a Marketing Accountant. This is a full-time position based at our Calgary Head Office. The Marketing Accountant will report to the Director, Marketing Accounting.

Qualifications/Skills: ·

  • Strong spreadsheet skills
  • Understanding oil and gas accounting would be an asset
  • Experience with Financial systems like Qbyte & Open Invoice would be an asset
  • Attention to detail and analytical thinking
  • Ability to collaborate across departments
  • 1-2 years of industry experience preferre

Responsibilities

Invoice Management

  • Create, verify, and send marketing-related invoices (e.g., NGL and sulphur)
  • Verify pricing components
  • Volume reconciliation

Revenue & Settlement

  • Reconcile purchaser statements and validate revenue
  • Resolve missing payments and discrepancies
  • Manage accounts receivable in Qbyte

Reporting & Compliance

  • Submit price and export reports to provincial and federal governments
  • Internal asset reporting via Power BI
  • Forecasting & Analysis
  • Prepare accruals and Accrual to Actual analysis monthly
  • Coordinate forecasting for crude oil, NGL, and sulphur industry settlements

Qualifications/Skills: ·
