Description

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and versatile team player to join us in a role that blends creative marketing, administration and harvest recruitment – all at the heart of our busy and growing agricultural business.
Your role will be varied, and no day will look the same as yesterday - from admin tasks such as managing insurance accounts, bookkeeping, recruiting harvest staff to being at the forefront of shaping how our business is seen by managing our social media channels, gathering great content (think drone footage, videos, and behind the scenes moments), to developing our website and merchandise, you’ll help showcase what makes AgriBale unique.
Also supporting the Managing Director, in all his businesses - AgriBale, Big Bale North, Northern Straw etc. By booking travel, taking minutes within meetings and calendar management you will be a key person to enable the success and progression of the companies.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a varied role, loves taking ownership, and wants to be part of a dynamic agricultural business that’s always growing and evolving.

These are the must-haves for someone to perform the role effectively:

  • Organisation & Time Management – ability to juggle varied tasks (admin, marketing, recruitment) and meet deadlines, especially during busy harvest seasons.
  • Attention to Detail – accurate data entry, bookkeeping, document filing, and managing figures.
  • Communication Skills – confident in both written and verbal communication; able to speak with staff, suppliers, and visitors professionally.
  • IT Proficiency – comfortable using spreadsheets (Excel/Google Sheets), email, document management, and general office software.
  • Social Media Know-how –understanding of platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok, plus confidence in posting and engaging with content.
  • Interpersonal Skills – approachable, friendly, and able to support seasonal staff and visitors.
  • Problem-Solving – resourceful and proactive when issues arise (e.g. missing figures, travel delays, stock shortages).
  • Flexibility & Adaptability – willing to switch between administration, reception, and creative tasks depending on business needs.
  • Creative Flair - Creative flair for reimagining bland material into bold, memorable campaigns that capture attention.
