Description Position Overview We are looking for a highly motivated, organized, and self-driven Marketing Administrative Assistant who is eager to build a long-term career in marketing, event planning, and business development within the mortgage industry. This is a growth-focused position designed for someone who is excited to learn new skills, take initiative, and gradually assume additional responsibilities. The role will begin by supporting one Loan Officer and will expand as experience, proficiency, and confidence increase. The job description will continue to evolve as new skills are developed and mastered. This position will be max 10 hours worked per week. Primary Responsibilities Loan Officer Marketing Support Provide dedicated marketing support to one Loan Officer during the training period. Learn and implement marketing strategies tailored to the Loan Officer's business. Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing marketing content. Maintain consistency with company branding and compliance standards. Help organize marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives. Social Media Management Assist Loan Officers in building and maintaining a strong online presence across platforms including: Instagram Facebook LinkedIn TikTok Google Business Profile YouTube Threads X (Twitter) Pinterest (when applicable) Responsibilities include: Scheduling and publishing posts Uploading reels and short-form videos Writing captions Updating profile information Maintaining branding consistency Assisting with engagement opportunities Promoting events and marketing campaigns Recommending content ideas based on industry trends Event Planning & Coordination Learn to coordinate and execute marketing events, including but not limited to: Lunch & Learns Realtor networking events Referral partner appreciation events Open house marketing support Educational workshops Client appreciation events Community outreach events Responsibilities include: Event planning and logistics Venue coordination Vendor communication Sponsor recruitment and relationship management Sponsor follow-up Creating attendee lists RSVP management Invitation outreach Event reminders Event-day coordination Assisting with post-event follow-up and marketing Marketing Administration Maintain organized project timelines. Track deadlines and deliverables. Assist with marketing materials. Organize digital assets. Maintain marketing calendars. Support special marketing projects as assigned. Weekly Reporting Submit a weekly KPI (Key Performance Indicator) report including: Completed tasks Current projects Event updates Social media progress Learning milestones Challenges encountered Priorities for the upcoming week Training & Professional Development This is a learning-intensive position designed for someone who enjoys continuous professional growth. The Marketing Assistant is expected to: Demonstrate initiative in learning new marketing platforms, software, and industry best practices. Become proficient in the marketing tools required for the role. Research solutions independently before requesting assistance when appropriate. Stay current on social media trends and digital marketing practices. Continuously improve efficiency through ongoing learning and skill development. The Marketing Manager will provide: Weekly one-on-one coaching sessions (approximately 1–2 hours). KPI review and performance feedback. Guidance on priorities and upcoming projects. Ongoing mentorship and professional development. Success in this role depends on curiosity, initiative, accountability, and a willingness to continually learn.
