Marketing Administrator TourismOhio, within the Ohio Department of Development, is presently hiring for a Marketing Administrator to join a team of passionate individuals who work to market Ohio as the best place to explore, to start and raise a family, to pursue an education, to do business, and the place where you can live your best life. What you’ll be doing: Develop and implement social media strategies and content to promote TourismOhio. Manage relationships with vendors and stakeholders to support program performance. Coordinate marketing projects and deliverables across internal teams and external partners. Plan and execute major events and activations, including Ohio Tourism Day. Organize and manage partner content submissions for campaigns, publications, and promotions. Provide communications and logistical support for advocacy outreach and advisory board activities. Support research efforts, including procurement of county-level economic impact data and vendor coordination. Serve as liaison to industry partners, ensuring effective communication and relationship management. Uphold the Department of Development’s customer service standards. 1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or Journalism OR equivalent work experience in one of the areas listed. 2. 3-5 years demonstrated work experience in a marketing/communications related field. 3. Minimum of 2 years experience handling social media marketing for an organization. 4. Excellent verbal and written communications skills required. 5. Ability to manage several projects simultaneously. 6. Skilled in the use of a personal computer using word processing and presentation software.
