What you’ll do: This position supports the development and implementation of successful marketing campaigns to boost store sales and consumer awareness of the Co-op Value Proposition. This would include overseeing a variety of initiatives in the following areas:

  • Administrative duties including claims and invoices
  • Donations and Sponsorships
  • Researching new ideas / products
  • Attending and helping to plan community events
  • Tracking / analytics - creating reports
  • Overseeing Kids Club Program
  • Creative support
  • Providing support for Team Member requests, questions, or other required needs
  • Working with others to identify areas for improvement and follow up on execution
  • In-store TV ads, guest facing emails, internal newsletter
  • Organizing / ordering / picking up promotional material for locations
  • Other projects and assignments as required
  • This position requires frequent travel across our trading area to attend community events and support locations as required.

WHO YOU ARE:

We are looking for a positive, approachable, and motivated individual with a drive to learn. Post-secondary Education (Diploma or Degree) in Business with a preference in Marketing is preferred. However, we welcome candidates with a combination of relevant experience and/or education. Candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • Understanding of our Values (Integrity, Community, Teamwork)
  • Professional, people-first, Guest experience skills
  • Strong attention to detail as well as organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Quality communication skills
  • Commitment to ongoing development in the industry
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Proficient with Canva, Excel, Microsoft Office

This is a full-time position requiring 40 hours per week. We encourage candidates with a blend of relevant experience and/or education to apply. The role involves travel between locations within our trading area, as well as occasional travel outside the trading area for business needs, as required
