)LAUNCH YOUR MARKETING CAREER WITH MY CLIENT
You want a career in marketing, but can’t seem to get an opportunity. Maybe you’ve been stuck in a job that doesn’t let you flex your creative muscles. Or perhaps you’re fresh out of uni, brimming with ideas, and looking for the right place to start your career. Either way, this is a Marketing & Admissions Assistant role that includes world-class marketing training, so we are looking for two people with the drive and potential to become expert marketers.
About the Partnership: Working Knowledge is working in partnership with a leading group of independent schools and nurseries across the UK. With 30 sites educating children aged 3 months to 18 years and over 1,100 staff supporting 3,300+ pupils, the group is the largest UK-only independent school organisation.
Each setting is supported to deliver high standards of teaching and learning, while retaining its unique character. The group shares best practices across its schools and nurseries, fostering innovation and continuous improvement. With a focus on personalised care, the aim is to nurture each child’s individual strengths and help them achieve their full potential.
Company Culture: This company prides itself on a vibrant and distinctive workplace culture that values individuality, innovation, and collaboration. They believe work should be enjoyable, blending professionalism with a friendly atmosphere where hard work is recognised and rewarded.
Role Overview: As the Marketing & Admissions Assistant, you’ll support pupil recruitment and promotional activity across a group of independent schools and nurseries. This varied role includes managing social media and email campaigns, updating the website, creating newsletters and promotional content, and maintaining brand assets.
You’ll liaise with schools to ensure consistent support, coordinate local outreach and events, and assist with campaign delivery. On the admissions side, you’ll help manage the full enquiry-to-enrolment process, track performance against targets, and report on trends to inform strategy.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need to be a self-starter with a proactive, ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team. You’ll be highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a busy school environment, and bring excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
