Ancestry is seeking a highly motivated Marketing Analyst to join our team, focusing on Customer Lifecycle Management (CLCM) and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). In this role, you will be a key contributor to our marketing and finance teams by providing deep-dive analysis of business performance and strategic recommendations. You will define and maintain key metrics, quantify the impact of our marketing efforts, and partner with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.

Responsibilities
  • Define, maintain, and enhance reporting frameworks and key performance indicators (KPIs) that provide visibility into customer lifecycle and campaign performance.
  • Perform deep-dives into existing data—including customer journey, campaign results, and business performance metrics—to identify and prioritize opportunities for growth and retention.
  • Relentlessly quantify the incremental impact of marketing initiatives and strategic decisions using causation and attribution analysis.
  • Partner with marketing teams to translate ideas into testable hypotheses and design, execute, and analyze A/B and multivariate tests that optimize campaign performance.
  • Equip the leadership team with data-driven insights into ROI and business growth, using data visualization and storytelling to communicate findings and drive strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Analytics, Marketing Tech, Data Engineering, Finance, and other teams to provide and communicate data-driven recommendations to the business.
