Description Zebra Pen is seeking a highly analytical and driven Marketing Analyst to join our U.S. team in Edison, NJ. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role is critical in transforming data into actionable insights that support Sales, Marketing, and Product Development decision-making. The Marketing Analyst will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, strengthening Zebra’s position within the Writing Instruments category, and enabling data-driven business strategies. Requirements Zebra Pen is seeking a highly analytical and driven Marketing Analyst to join our U.S. team in Edison, NJ. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this role is critical in transforming data into actionable insights that support Sales, Marketing, and Product Development decision-making. The Marketing Analyst will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, strengthening Zebra’s position within the Writing Instruments category, and enabling data-driven business strategies. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Insight Development & Reporting Establish and maintain a monthly cadence of insights for Sales, Marketing, and key stakeholders Analyze and present market trends including seasonality, pricing, competitive dynamics, and category performance Deliver clear, compelling reports and presentations that translate data into actionable business recommendations Data Analysis & Business Support Leverage multiple data sources, including: Customer POS data Circana Syndicated Market Data Walmart Scintilla Edgewood Consulting Support Product Development through: Identification of new product opportunities Line extension recommendations Pricing strategy insights SKU rationalization and optimization efforts Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with Sales and Marketing teams through participation in sales strategy and cluster meetings Support initiatives led by the Head of Promotion and SKU Optimization Contribute to Zebra’s category leadership positioning through insight-driven storytelling and recommendations Platform & Partner Management Manage relationships with key third-party data partners, including Circana, Scintilla, and Edgewood Consulting Ensure accurate product classification, reporting integrity, and full utilization of partner platforms Serve as departmental lead for Power BI reporting, partnering with external consultants to ensure platform accuracy and effectiveness Tools & Resource Management Develop and maintain a centralized insights repository/resource portal for cross-functional access Generate ad hoc and recurring reports using Power BI and third-party analytics tools REQUIREMENTS: · Advanced Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Excel Analyzer, Loop, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, Power BI and D365 · Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees to maximize Performance, creativity, problem solving and results · Advanced marketing analytics, shopper marketing & category Management with CPG environment · Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills · Experience with Power BI, Circana (Unify), Nielsen, IRI, Walmart Scintilla · Multi-tasking and coordinating projects with changing priorities · Strong understanding of the sales environment · 3 - 5 Years’ Marketing Analyst experience · Working knowledge of Marketing 5 Ps across B2C, B2B, and DTC channels · Working knowledge of Shopper Marketing and Category Management Principles · Must have working experience for a sales driven, customer–focused business · Working knowledge of Windows based operating system · Ability to communicate and motivate clearly and effectively with internal and external contacts via in-person meetings, telephone, and written communication · People management and ability to make effective business decisions in the best interest of the Company · Strong Analytical skills · Strong Presentation skills · Ability to travel less than 10% · Office Products Industry a plus · College degree preferred - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Statistics, or a related field
