PURPOSE OF THE POSITION:
The Marketing Analytics Lead ensures the alignment of finance and marketing data and narratives by leading the collection, consolidation, and reporting of global marketing metrics, as well as various financial and market analyses. This role is pivotal in reporting of private fundraising performance and supporting strategic decisions about future fundraising strategies. This role is responsible for data management, analysis, and reporting of marketing data, fundraising results, peer reviews, and market share analysis. The Marketing Analytics Lead ensures that all reports are accurate, insightful, and timely, providing senior leaders with the information they need to make informed decisions.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the overall global marketing metrics consolidation as well as partnering with SO Finance and Marketing teams to leverage accurate, timely, and insightful reporting and analysis.
Lead the process to collect, consolidate and review the monthly global marketing metrics and other data into our key systems and ensure alignment of data and narratives between Finance and Marketing. This role has the ownership of the backend dataset, report production, and user-facing reporting and analysis environment in Power BI and other tools, as appropriate.
This role partners with SO and NRD Finance and Marketing teams, Data Warehouse and Data Modeling team and ensures delivery of key Marketing reports and analytics.
This role is also critical in providing marketing data and analytics reporting requirements for key finance, marketing and other partnership meetings and forums (RDLC, RDW, PRAC, etc.).
Lead the annual peer review and market share analysis.
This includes partnering with peer organization forums to understand market trends and gain insight into donor behaviors and fundraising strategies. This information will be critical in creating custom analysis for participating offices to ensure World Vision remains well-informed and strategically positioned in its fundraising efforts.

Leading continuous improvement initiatives that focus on streamlining processes and enhancing the organization’s ability to analyse and report on private revenue performance and fundraising investments. This involves leveraging available technology to reduce manual work, automate workflows and data collection and validation which will enable development of strategic insights and analytics to support informed decision-making.
