Description

The Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada is dedicated to preserving and showcasing the rich history of aviation in western and northern Canada. Located on the James A. Richardson International Airport campus in Winnipeg, our museum offers dynamic and interactive experiences for Manitobans and travelers alike. Our mission is to educate, entertain and inspire future generations.

POSITION OVERVIEW

This is a 16 week contract leading up to the annual fundraising event, Preservation Ball. This role will focus on administrative support to the CEO and duties in marketing that include coordination of media production, both print and digital. They will communicate with the gala stakeholders pre and post event, and contribute to the team’s success in reaching fund-raising goals.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

· Education in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications or related a program.
· Experience in project or event coordination is an asset.
· Acuity with CRM software.
· Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

· Proficiency with social media platforms and content management tools.

  • Excellence in communication, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrates excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to work occasional weekends and evenings.
  • Satisfactory criminal record check required.
