  Administrative and Marketing Assistant   SPCA Florida is seeking a full-time Administrative and Marketing Assistant to join our growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly driven, detail-oriented, and organized professional, passionate about animal welfare and eager to work in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who has experience and maturity, takes initiative, and immediately contributes to the success of our administrative, donor, and marketing efforts. The ideal candidate is a proactive team player with strong organizational skills, a customer-service mindset, and a passion for supporting donor engagement, community outreach, and marketing initiatives that help save the lives of animals. Qualifications * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong customer service, organizational, and time management skills  * Ability to multitask effectively, prioritize competing responsibilities, and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint * Experience using Google Workspace applications, including Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Analytics, and Google Groups * Ability to type 60 words per minute * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively with employees, donors, volunteers, Board of Directors, vendors, clients, and the public * Ability to support fundraising initiatives and donor engagement activities while assisting in the continued growth and development of SPCA Florida's fundraising programs * Assist with donor stewardship activities and support efforts to achieve departmental fundraising goals * Professionally and effectively lead assigned programs through community outreach, presentations, and ongoing follow-through to ensure program success and community engagement. * Ability to identify and cultivate potential new donor opportunities by effectively communicating SPCA Florida's mission, programs, services, and community impact * Excellent accuracy and attention to detail   * Strong problem-solving abilities and basic mathematical skills. * Project coordination skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple projects simultaneously * Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive donor, financial, and organizational information * Passion for animal welfare and a commitment to supporting SPCA Florida's mission of helping animals and the people who care for them. Minimum Requirements * Associate degree (A.A.) preferred in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field. * Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of recent office experience with increasing administrative responsibilities, including data entry and customer service. * Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Marketing Assistant, Marketing Coordinator, Communications Assistant, or similar role. * Knowledge of general office practices and procedures, including computer, printer, and telephone hardware * Experience handling cash and other forms of payment * Physical ability to handle 35 lbs., repeatedly if needed * Flexible schedule if needed for events – could include evening or weekend work Position Summary * The Administrative and Marketing Assistant provides administrative support to the Development and Marketing Department and serves as a welcoming, professional first point of contact for visitors, donors, volunteers, and community members. This role assists with marketing projects, program leadership, donor communications, financial transactions, data entry, event coordination, office administration, and customer service functions.
