Description

Puddle Ducks is one of the UK’s leading providers of baby and child swimming lessons, through a nation-wide network of franchises. We are looking for a part time Marketing and Brand Awareness Manager to work throughout the Doncaster and South Humberside territory. Your role will be to work autonomously within the entire territory to grow our audience and seek out new business opportunities. You will generate new leads for our customer care team to convert into customers.
To succeed as Marketing and Brand Awareness Manager, you will need to be a self-starter who is passionate about achieving results and making a difference. As they say ‘people buy people’, so your charismatic personality will be just as important as any proven sales experience, and you need to be organised to plan and prioritise your time to achieve results.
This is a part time, flexible role working approximately 10-15 hours per week (to be agreed)
The role is home-based, however you will be required regularly to carry out various talks, events & presentations as well as occasionally carrying out some duties from pools and at other venues such as team meetings, conferences or presentations. Some weekend or evening work will be required. As such the role offers a great deal of flexibility and autonomy, the candidate will be expected to be proactive and develop this role.

DELIVERABLES

· Annual local marketing plan produced and shared with franchisee
· Weekly social media schedule
· Evaluation of activities shared with Franchisee & team as appropriate
· Regular coverage in local media to demonstrate good relationships
· Library of suitable ads & materials available, in line with National Marketing guidelines
· Plans regularly updated and amended to take into account ad hoc targets & gap fill activity
· Plans for new pools prepared and executed.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the franchise social media strategy
  • To assist the franchisee in evaluating marketing activity, setting marketing strategy and creating and implementing marketing plans to meet business objectives
  • To create marketing materials to support the local plan
  • Maintain records of marketing activities and return on investment
  • Grow our digital audience and followers
  • Engage with Puddle Ducks customers to gain their feedback and create online content
  • Engage with team members to create varied online content
  • To provide a link with Customer Care and identify local Marketing targets that will build customer numbers and drive both class viability and profitability
  • To assist the franchisee in understanding influences on customer satisfaction and make recommendations e.g. surveys and research
  • To build relationships with local media, press, radio etc to develop marketing opportunities, & execute them.
  • Identify locations our customers might visit to seek out suitable locations for advertising
  • Create relationships with local baby/children - related businesses
  • Seek out and on-board Puddle Ducks Ambassadors
  • Create a monthly customer newsletter that is engaging and informative as well as any other customer communications as required
  • Generate new customer leads using initiative and think outside of the box when required
  • Develop local plans to support launch of new pools & sessions.
