Overview:
Propel, an Alera Group company, is looking for a Marketing and Brand Specialist. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

We are passionate about our clients’ success in the areas of Employee Benefits, Property and Casualty Insurance, Retirement Plan Services, and Wealth Services. Responsibilities:

  • Manage association advertising by maintaining records, communicating with ad sales reps and internal sales leaders, and creating and submitting ads.
  • Coordinate and create sponsorship ads.
  • Manage company swag by maintaining portals, monitoring inventory, placing reorders, and ordering new products to keep swag fresh.
  • Manage additional ad requests, such as tradeshow placements.
  • Manage blog content, including coordinating new producer announcements and ensuring the consistent development of new blog content.
  • Serve as escalation point of contact for website maintenance and changes, social media, branding projects, and email marketing/MailChimp.
  • Coordinate webinar marketing in partnership with sales.
  • Spearhead special projects, such as overseeing rollout and implementation of Flipping Book, the implementation and adoption of RFPio, assisting with coordination of website refresh, and helping strengthen the producer onboarding process by providing them with key marketing resources.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and/or branding
  • B2B marketing experience a plus
  • Experience or familiarity with various design platform(s) a plus (ie. Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.)
  • Experience or familiary with Wordpress a plus
  • Social media/digital knowledge with an understanding of emerging digital trends and technologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
