The Marketing and Business Development Specialist will be responsible for developing, tracking and maintaining relationships with referring doctors, organizing marketing events, and ensuring the availability and distribution of marketing materials. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Conduct regular visits to referring doctors' offices to maintain and strengthen relationships. Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for outreach and referral development. Ensure referring doctors are well-informed about referral processes and are adequately stocked with necessary collateral materials. Facilitate and arrange marketing dinners and other events for BARA doctors to meet with referring doctors. Act as a point of contact for referring doctors to resolve inquiries as needed. Organize online webinars and in-person educational seminars for local optometrists, ophthalmologists, and other doctors. Develop and execute targeted marketing campaigns to increase referrals and patient acquisition. Track new patient referrals by source and maintain an accurate and up-to-date database of referrals. Act as a liaison with designers and clinicians for the creation/updating of patient handouts and other marketing printed collateral. Ensure timely updates to company website and digital collateral to reflect current information and marketing campaigns. Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing and outreach efforts and recommend improvements. Prepare and submit regular progress reports and referral metrics to senior leadership. Implement and maintain a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to centralize, automate and manage all BARA interactions with current and potential referral sources to the practice, in order to maximize referral retention and drive referral growth. Responsibilities Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships- Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time. Coordinating and overseeing virtual and in person educational meetings with other doctors. Refining and maintaining a database of referrals, analyzing resulting data, and making recommendations accordingly. Getting Information- Coordinating, receiving, and otherwise obtaining information from all relevant sources. Meeting productivity and Key Performance Indicator standards. Overseeing internal and external digital and print marketing campaigns including overseeing creation and distribution of collateral. Requirements 3-5 years of Marketing, outreach, or similar experience Experience building relationships with and marketing directly to health care providers and their office staff Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and presentation skills Strong analytical skills and experience with marketing metrics and reporting tools. Creative thinker with a strategic mindset and a detail-oriented approach. Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
