Yate Supplies are a family run company who provide a one stop shop to the hospitality and catering industry. Trading for over 35 years, we provide our customers with over 25,000 food packaging, janitorial and catering products. The customer is at the heart of everything we do, and we are renown in the industry for our excellent service and management of bespoke printed food and drink packaging. We send products all over the UK, mainly on our own vehicles and provide a unique service (especially in central London) by delivering our customers’ orders at night for minimal operational disruption for our end user.
We are currently recruiting for a Marketing & Client Engagement Executive on a permanent basis. The annual salary is based on a 37.5 hour working week and is £30,000 per annum - previous marketing experience is a must.
We also offer 23 days holiday plus bank holidays, free parking and a staff discount scheme.

JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a driven and versatile Marketing & Client Engagement Executive to support the company’s dual marketing goals:

  • Driving engagement and business growth within our corporate client base at a senior stakeholder level
  • Promoting our products and services more independently through grassroots and organic marketing channels.

The ideal candidate will be confident in engaging senior decision-makers, aligning messaging with broader corporate objectives, while also being hands-on in creating and executing independent promotional activity that builds brand awareness and product uptake across diverse customer groups.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience in marketing with a focus on client engagement, preferably in a B2B or hybrid B2B/B2C environment.
  • Confident communicator able to present to and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong creative skills and ability to craft compelling content.
  • Experience with independent, campaign-based marketing.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools (e.g., Canva, HubSpot, Mailchimp).
  • Event planning and brand promotion experience.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to balance strategic direction with hands-on delivery.
Responsibilities

Corporate Client Engagement & Strategy:

  • Build and nurture relationships with corporate partners and group-level clients.
  • Represent the business in senior-level meetings, promoting products and services aligned to corporate messaging.
  • Support the sales team with tailored marketing materials for key accounts.
  • Help shape strategic messaging for B2B audiences and support cross-channel alignment.

Independent Product Promotion & Brand Awareness:

  • Create and distribute engaging product content to drive awareness outside formal channels.
  • Develop creative campaigns for independent and community-level marketing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to launch promotions that complement corporate strategies but reach broader, non-corporate audiences.
  • Leverage social platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X) to generate visibility and build informal customer relationships.

Marketing Materials & Literature:

  • Develop marketing assets such as brochures, presentations, and flyers.
  • Ensure consistent branding and voice across all materials and formats.

Supplier & Product Promotions:

  • Collaborate with suppliers to design and execute product-focused campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on the performance and ROI of promotional initiatives.

Market & Customer Insights:

  • Track industry trends and customer behaviour to inform marketing decisions.
  • Provide feedback to sales and leadership teams to guide strategy.

Events & Engagement Activities:

  • Plan and deliver events tailored to both corporate clients and general customer audiences.
  • Lead initiatives such as product showcases, charity events, and trade partnerships.
