JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing and Communications Assistant to join our team. This role involves supporting the Marketing and Communications Manager with a wide range of tasks, including photography and videography for social media, creating engaging content, and assisting with customer communication via email. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for visual storytelling.

Day to day, the job is very diverse. You may start the day measuring snow for the snow report and answering customer enquiries, then cover lift operator’s lunch breaks out on the slopes, before spending the afternoon capturing and editing footage for social media.

• Content Creation:
• Capture high-quality photos and videos for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
• Edit and enhance visuals to ensure brand consistency and appeal.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to develop creative campaigns and content that engage our target audience.
• Social Media Management:
• Assist with the planning, scheduling, and posting of content across all social media platforms.
• Monitor social media engagement and track key metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of posts and campaigns.
• Respond to comments and direct messages in a timely and professional manner.
• Website Management:
• Ability to update the snow report online daily and share it via social media.
• Email Communications:
• Manage and respond to customer inquiries through the business email account and phoneline, ensuring prompt and helpful responses.
• Handle customer concerns, feedback, and requests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Assist in drafting email newsletters, promotional materials, and other customer-facing communications.
• Marketing Support:
• Assist with the creation and distribution of marketing materials such as flyers, posters, and digital assets.
• Support in the development of marketing strategies and campaign planning.
• Maintain and update the content library of photos, videos, and marketing assets.
