Have you got what it takes to wear our Halo and be our next Project Coordinator - Marketing and Communications?
This may be a role in the leisure industry but the job is far from leisurely! Working within a thriving marketing team, you will help organise and create marketing campaigns in support of Halo’s vision of ‘Creating Healthier Communities’.
This is a 22.5 hour per week post. Hybrid working - a mix of working from head office (Herefordshire), onsite and from home. The role offers a variety of creative tasks exposing you to every aspect of marketing to drive participation at 32 Halo leisure facilities.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS, ABILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous experience in Marketing
  • Suitable Marketing qualification
  • Photography skills
  • Video skills - content capture and editing
  • Promotional copywriting
  • PR and media liaison
  • e-marketing initiatives
  • Producing performance data and statistics
  • IT Skills - Google platforms, work, excel, powerpoint.
  • Time management
  • Commitment to Halo Leisure values and behaviours
  • Good organisational skills
  • Experience of dealing with members of the public
  • Flexible approach
  • Teamwork
  • Good attendance record
  • Ability to travel independently between leisure centres.
  • Work unsocial hours when required.
Responsibilities
  • Develop content (visual and copy) to share across a wide range of communication channels to help encourage local communities to be more physically active.
  • Proficient in recording and editing video content for social media platforms.
  • Support the successful day to day running of the marketing and communications function.
  • Support for the planning, managing, delivering and reviewing of Trust-wide, Regional and Facility-specific marketing campaigns.
  • Marketing support to any campaign aimed at ‘creating healthier communities’.
  • You will deliver marketing activity for Halo sites in Herefordshire, Bridgend County, Merthyr Tydfil, Shropshire, Highworth and Gloucester.
