Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you a creative and driven communicator with a passion for making a difference? Avalon Group is seeking a Marketing and Communications Co-ordinator to join our dynamic team led by our Service Development Director. This is a fantastic opportunity to help shape and deliver marketing strategies that raise awareness, engage communities, and support our charitable goals, including fundraising and service promotion.
Avalon Group is an award-winning charity with over 30 years’ experience in providing person-centred support to adults with care support needs. We pride ourselves in promoting independence and choice, enabling the people we support to achieve their best life experience. At Avalon, we live everyday by our values of respect, honesty, learning & development, inclusion and partnership working.
This is a new role, and whilst worked primarily from home or the nearest Avalon office, there will be occasions where you will need to travel to other locality offices so being a driver with access to a vehicle is preferred though not essential.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan and deliver innovative, multi-channel marketing campaigns that promote the Charity’s work.
  • Create compelling content for a variety of platforms, including our website, social media, newsletters, and print materials.
  • Manage and grow our social media presence with consistent and impactful messaging.
  • Organise and support events – both in-person and virtual – to connect with stakeholders and the wider community.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure aligned and cohesive communications.
  • Monitor campaign performance and provide insights and recommendations to optimise engagement and reach.
