Marketing planning and coordination
• Develop, implement and review an annual Marketing and Communications Plan aligned with CCC's Strategic Plan, annual priorities and available resources.
• Translate priority program needs into proportionate campaign briefs, schedules, target audiences, messages, channels and measurable outcomes.
• Maintain an organisation-wide marketing calendar and coordinate dependencies, deadlines, approvals and delivery across program areas.
Digital channels
• Maintain and progressively improve CCC's website structure, priority pages, calls to action and accessibility, working with program staff to keep information accurate.
• Apply practical search engine optimisation and improve user journeys from discovery through enquiry, booking or enrolment.
• Coordinate CCC's social media presence and deliver agreed organic and paid campaigns, including targeting priority audiences and locations.
• Maintain digital content schedules and create or coordinate reusable campaign assets across website, social media, email and print.
Email marketing and audience development
• Plan and deliver segmented email campaigns and newsletters.
• Grow CCC’s subscriber base through improved subscription pathways.
• Test subject lines, content, timing and calls to action where useful, and analyse open, click and
conversion results.
• Develop simple automated communications where these add value and can be maintained within
CCC's available systems and resources.
Brand, content and communications assets
• Create and update priority brochures, flyers, advertisements, banners, presentations and other
promotional material using consistent CCC branding and accessible formats.
• Plan and capture suitable photography, testimonials and short-form video, including arranging
external support when approved and required.
• Maintain practical brand, voice, image, consent and file-management guidance and support staff
to use approved templates consistently.
Targeted promotion and community reach
• Develop targeted campaigns for priority programs, audiences and geographic areas, informed by
community need, participation data and program capacity.
• Promote programs, events, initiatives and fundraising through appropriate local and digital
channels.
• Identify and coordinate marketing and referral opportunities with councils, schools,
neighbourhood houses, community services, local businesses and other relevant networks.
Performance, evaluation and improvement
• Establish agreed measures for priority campaigns and monitor relevant data such as reach,
engagement, website actions, enquiries, bookings, enrolments and cost effectiveness.
• Provide concise monthly reporting on delivery, results, risks and recommended improvements,
and use findings to refine future activity.
Coordination, compliance and teamwork
• Work collaboratively with managers, coordinators, staff and volunteers to clarify responsibilities,
coordinate marketing tasks and meet deadlines.
• Verify program information, audience needs, permissions and approvals before publication, and
communicate issues or proposed solutions in a timely way.
• Manage marketing files, passwords, image permissions, brand assets and supplier records in
accordance with CCC systems, privacy, child safety and recordkeeping requirements.
• Coordinate approved suppliers and expenditure within delegated authority and budgets,
escalating significant reputational, privacy, safeguarding or brand matters to the General
Manager.
• Participate in relevant meetings and contribute marketing knowledge, analysis and practical ideas
to organisational and program planning.
