Cornerstone Healthcare provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.
Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them inappropriate candidates for dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.
We currently have 3 services based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, & Mytchett with 2 new services set to open in Bristol and Birmingham in 2025

ABOUT THE ROLE

Cornerstone Healthcare are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing and Communications Officer to become part of our award-winning team.
The ideal candidate will play a key part in delivering Cornerstone’s marketing strategy providing communications and marketing support for internal/external communication, promotional campaigns and brand awareness across the website, social media, advertising and publishing and events.
The postholder will primarily be responsible for creating and delivering communications and marketing plans for projects across the organisation, managing newsletters, writing marketing copy, identifying and scheduling social media messages, and creating content for our website. Content will be required to be developed within brand guidelines and tone of voice.
The Communications Officer will report to the Head of Business Development and will be expected to work closely with staff in our services and Central Support Office. The post holder will be expected to attend meetings and visit services as required.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about communications and looking to build their experience and expertise in a rewarding sector. The role is busy and varied and the successful candidate will get wide-ranging experience working across a number of key communications activities.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Support the development and delivery of marketing and communication plans to promote the Cornerstone brand, events and other marketing activities to our target audiences.
  • Work closely with teams across the organisation to commission, develop and edit content for our communications channels including the website, social media and newsletters.
  • Support on all aspects of the production of digital and print publications, ensuring the branding and style guidelines are effectively deployed.
  • Develop and maintain an image library for use across the website, social media channels and publications ensuring consents are in place and compliant with GDPR requirements.
  • Work closely with our press officer to plan and schedule content for the corporate social media accounts, ensuring regular content and consistent messaging.
  • Plan and deliver social media campaigns for specific projects and products.
  • Develop regular reporting and monitoring to evaluate the impact of our marketing and communications activities.
  • To support the delivery of internal and external communications on behalf of the organisation.
  • To work closely with clinical teams to identify and develop a library of case studies for the purpose of communicating examples of positive outcomes for our residents.
