    Reporting to the Partnerships and Fundraising Manager, the Marketing and Communications Officer will play a crucial role in developing marketing campaigns and fundraising initiatives. You will be responsible for producing interesting and engaging content to inform and influence key stakeholders, including donors, corporate partners, volunteers and fundraising event supporters.

We are responsible for celebrating the amazing work of our volunteers and the incredible work they do to support Suffolk families.
Home-Start in Suffolk offers a unique service. We recruit and train volunteers, to visit families at home, provide telephone support or support our regular group activities by offering them informal, friendly and confidential support. The families we help have at least one child under 12.
To help give children the best possible start in life, Home-Start supports parents as they grow in confidence, strengthen their relationship with their children and widen their links with the local community.

Responsibilities
  • To support the development and implementation of marketing and communications strategies.
  • To positively promote Home-Start in Suffolk within the community and engage key stakeholders through targeted communications.
  • To write engaging and accurate content for various platforms, including publicity materials, newsletters, press releases, social media and website.
  • To ensure consistent messaging across multiple platforms and that all content aligns with our charitable objects and values.
