ABOUT THE ROLE:

Marketing and communications partners are pivotal to developing and delivering marketing and communications strategies that enhance our profile, maximise the value of membership for organisations, and support sales growth. You will lead efforts with stakeholders across the business to shape offerings, positioning, and identify key opportunities for marketing and communications.
You will develop marketing plans and shape and oversee the delivery of marketing and communications initiatives, ensuring integration with wider marketing and communications plans and campaigns, influencing colleagues across the organisation to ensure there is buy-in and focus of resources.
This role will be aligned specifically to Jisc’s activity around Data, and you will take the lead role around the positioning of Jisc’s activities in the data space. This will cover our role as the designated data body under the HESA and Graduate Outcomes brands, and our portfolio of data products and services in the wider Jisc portfolio.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Lead the interaction between marketing and communications and data collection and statistics, and data analytics teams.
  • Lead the development of marketing and communications strategies and plans for data to support business objectives, within the framework and context of wider marcomms strategies and plans. • Lead the briefing of channels and content teams, working in partnership with them to ensure the successful development and delivery of projects, campaigns and activity.
  • Maintain oversight of the HESA brand (in partnership with the deputy director brand experience) ensuring brand touchpoints are managed correctly, and that the HESA brand provides an effective umbrella for Jisc’s activity as the designated data body.
