Description
American Farm Bureau Insurance Services, Inc. (AFBIS, Inc.), provider of support and crop insurance services to Farm Bureau insurance companies, is looking for a Marketing and Communications Specialist. This is a hybrid role working out of the Fargo office at least two days a week and one additional day within a two-week period. We will also consider experienced remote talent for this position.  There will be up to 25% travel.  As a Marketing and Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for collaborating across all levels of the organization and with customers to support crop insurance marketing and communication initiatives. This includes, developing digital/print marketing materials, managing web/social media content to inform and engage stakeholders and customers, and translating complex regulatory updates into user-friendly communications.  Key Responsibilities: * * Create clear, concise, and accurate communications related to RMA bulletins, regulatory updates, and industry changes  * Interpret complex regulatory information and translate it into user-friendly content for affiliates and customers  * Produce and distribute content across digital, print, website, and social media platforms to inform and engage stakeholders  * Manage and maintain website content, ensuring information is current, accurate, compliant, and aligned with business priorities  * Oversee social media presence, including content planning, posting, monitoring engagement and performance metrics, and ensuring brand consistency  * Develop customer-facing communications that support understanding/compliance with crop insurance programs  * Develop training videos and educational content for crop insurance products, including scripting, production coordination, and delivery * Support agent onboarding and setup processes, including creation and maintenance of agent profiles, agent resources, communication preferences, and required documentation * Create instructional materials that support product understanding, compliance, and field application for affiliates and customers What you will bring to this position: * * Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience * 3+ years of Marketing Communications experience in Crop Insurance  * Business to Consumer Marketing experience is a plus * Working knowledge and understanding of innovative computer technologies applicable to marketing, communications, and event planning * Strong computer and audio/visual skills, Experience in MailChimp, Canva, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign is a plus * Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products * Strong analytical, critical thinking, decision making, and problem-solving skills * Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities often under tight deadlines * Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills The expected starting salary range for this position is between $60,000 and $75,000. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
