MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST

Location: 6430 General Green Way, Alexandria, VA 22312 | Reports To: VP Marketing

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or related field
• Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc.)
• Experience with social media scheduling tools (Later, Hootsuite, or Meta Business Suite)
• Strong working knowledge of ChatGPT and similar AI tools
• Working knowledge of WordPress and basic SEO best practices
• Familiarity with email platforms and basic HTML is a plus
• Exceptional writing, grammar, and visual storytelling skills
• Outgoing personality comfortable with community interaction and on-the-ground events
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
