Description

We are currently recruiting for a marketing and events coordinator to manage and expand the company’s industry presence and brand awareness alongside delivering high profile events/trade shows of all sizes, from planning, delivery, and evaluation. The successful candidate will join our fantastic team at our Marr, Doncaster depot. Previous experience within a similar marketing role is preferred.
Hours: 37.5 hours a week

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Create and publish high-quality, engaging content on various social media platforms. This includes managing and growing our social media accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok using content studio
  • Digital Literacy: Familiarity with various social media platforms, email marketing tools, content management systems (like WordPress), and basic SEO (Search Engine Optimisation)
  • Attend farms to take creative photos/images/videos that can be used for various marketing purposes
  • Develop and implement innovative marketing strategies and measure their effectiveness to inform future strategies along with applicable metrics to measure reach
  • Develop new proposals for events, using initiative to come up with own ideas.
  • Manage the Farmstar website with updates and content management.
  • Attend, plan and organise all Farmstar local networking events such as shows, careers fairs, local market stalls and exhibitions (including Lincolnshire Show, Open Days and Working Demonstration Days)
  • Write marketing literature (newsletters, brochures, invites etc.) to augment the company’s presence in the industry market
  • Liaise with sales, service and parts department on their needs for marketing materials i.e. delivery of machines, service on machines, offerings, discounts etc
  • Attend conferences and training to understand industry trends.
  • Liaise with sales to ensure second hand machinery is maintained online
  • Order samples for merchandise as required for various marketing purposes including raffles, sponsorships and customers (banners, brochures, pens and hats)
  • Log all marketing invoices and ensure the budget sheet is kept up to date by logging all activities
  • Planning and support Marketing/Sales meetings
  • Create and order Business cards for new team members or change of roles
  • Work closely with the General Manager and HR department for recruiting websites and career advertisement purposes

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ideally a degree in marketing or a related field, or 2 years + in a marketing role with accompanying training certifications
  • Previous experience within agriculture is desirable
  • The resilience to chase people for content or updates even when it may not be their priority
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and their reach capabilities
  • IT Literate with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to use a Drone, Go Pro, Cameras and recording equipment
  • Experience with using software including Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Canva, Premier Rush, Content Studio
  • Full UK Driving License
