WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Proven experience in planning, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital and print.
  • Hands-on experience managing social media platforms such as Meta (Facebook/ Instagram), LinkedIn, YouTube, including scheduling, content creation, copywriting, and performance tracking.
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and support events, including planning, setup, and promotion.
  • Strong skills in creating engaging written and visual content for newsletters, social media, and marketing collateral.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management abilities
  • Experience with content creation, digital marketing, and email campaigns
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and WordPress or similar CMS
  • A keen interest in the not-for-profit and community services sector

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Marketing & Events Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Playgroup NSW. In this full-time role based in Sydney, you will play a crucial part in executing our marketing and events strategy, helping to promote our services and engage our community.
This position is responsible for enhancing brand visibility, fostering community engagement, and driving participation in playgroup programs and initiatives through executing marketing campaigns, creating engaging content, managing social media and regular e-newsletter, and project managing organisation-wide events, campaigns, and other promotional activities.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Coordinate the planning and delivery of Playgroup NSW’s events, workshops and campaigns
  • Support the development of content for major marketing campaigns, including planning and attending content shoots and roll-out.
  • Develop and implement effective promotional strategies across digital and traditional channels
  • Create engaging content for our website, social media and marketing materials
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing and events team
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistent brand messaging
