(CTSI), we are seeking a Marketing and New Business Development Representative (in other companies this person could hold the title of Lead Generation Specialist, Business Development Associate, Field Marketing Representative), who will help drive our marketing efforts and identify new business opportunities. In this role, you will be the front line of CTSI's growth strategy, responsible for generating leads, creating buzz about our services, and opening doors to future client relationships. Your day-to-day will involve a blend of proactive outreach and in-person engagement: making phone calls, business visits, attending trade shows, and getting face time with potential clients. You'll work closely with sales leadership to transition qualified leads and ensure that every opportunity is maximized. Confidence, charisma, and resilience are key. This position requires someone who is naturally energetic and outgoing, with a thick skin and a desire to win. You should be equipped with strong interpersonal skills, an ability to read the room, and a fearless attitude when approaching new conversations. Adaptability, coachability, and a willingness to dive in with both feet are essential. Your eagerness to learn and drive new business will be supported through comprehensive training, including hands-on and in-person sessions, designed to help you thrive in our bootcamp-style development process. General job duties include: Generating leads and finding new business opportunities to pass to sales Outbound engagement: phone calls, door‑knocking, attending events and trade shows to network and generate leads. Develop and maintain a strong understanding of CTSI's services and value proposition to effectively communicate with potential clients. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align messaging, campaigns, and outreach strategies. Record and manage all lead activity in the CRM system to ensure accurate pipeline tracking. Follow up on inbound leads and referrals in a timely and professional manner. Identify key decision-makers within target organizations and build meaningful relationships. Represent CTSI at networking events, tradeshows, and local business functions to enhance visibility. Provide feedback from the field to help refine messaging, positioning, and outreach tactics. Contribute to a high-energy, collaborative team culture that celebrates wins and supports development. Preferred Skills & Qualifications: No prior technical or sales experience required. Strong communication skills with clients and internal teams. Traits such as confidence, resilience, and presence in front of an audience often correlate with success in this role. Eagerness to build a strong foundation and grow within our organization. Demonstrated hunger, confidence, and drive with a competitive spirit and strong desire to meet and exceed goals. Comfort with ambiguity and a willingness to step outside of one’s comfort zone to develop new skills. Coachability and a growth mindset; able to receive feedback and quickly apply learnings. Basic proficiency with productivity and CRM tools is helpful, though all technical training is provided. Self-starter mentality with a high degree of personal accountability and initiative. Physical Requirements: Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and travel to events, client sites, and tradeshows. Ability to work on‑site and move between locations as needed. Compensation: The compensation is expected to start at $40,000, plus commission.
