Description

Position Overview: This position will be the direct point of contact for everything Social Media and Reputation Management related, but also act as an overall key member of the Marketing & Advertising team. This position will only work for someone with a pro-active attitude with exceptional follow-up and communication skills that isn’t afraid to “get their hands dirty”. Although we work closely as a team, the correct individual must be able to manage their workload independently, and develop a sense of ownership for the projects assigned to their role.

  • Social Media Marketing
  • Increase overall follower base
  • Research and implement successful social media marketing campaigns
  • Determine which metrics are best to use in determining the success of a campaign
  • Be familiar with blogging, as well as following and interacting with relevant bloggers
  • Take a proactive approach to learning about new social media marketing trends
  • Assist in training employees about best practices on social media
  • Monitor, educate, and train all social media accounts
  • Develop a consistent and compelling social media campaign schedule that corresponds with current internal initiatives
  • Work within a designated social media management tool
  • Review new tools, as they become available
  • General Marketing & Design Projects
  • Create all social media marketing and design related components
  • Assist internal Graphic Designer with creation of marketing and design projects relating to sales, service, parts, & collision; through use of Adobe Suite
  • Assist with the development of sales training materials
  • Copy/script writing for radio and television commercials
  • Manage inventory of all promotional/giveaway items
  • Assist Digital Marketing Manager with projects as needed
  • Responsible for the management of several sponsorship events

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • To be successful in the position, the right candidate MUST be proactive, with an incredible sense of follow-up and attention to detail
  • Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Public Relations, or Journalism
  • Extremely strong sense of both written and verbal communication
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Must have flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required with little notice
  • Not afraid to “get your hands dirty”
  • Extensive knowledge of most popular social media and reputation management platforms
  • Comfortable reprioritizing their day to hop onto an unexpected project as needed
  • Strong multi-tasking skills

PREFERRED (BUT NOT REQUIRED) QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 1-3 years of experience working with Adobe Suite
  • 1-3 years of experience working in a fast-paced, ad agency setting
  • 1-3 years of copywriting / commercial script writing experience
  • General knowledge of SEO/PPC
  • 1-2 years of experience in a dealership setting
    ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and clean drug test are required. Some evening/weekend work required.
