OVERVIEW

We are seeking a creative and results-driven Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective social media strategies that enhance our brand presence, engage our audience, and drive traffic to our e-commerce platforms. This role requires a blend of creativity, analytical skills, and a strong understanding of various social media platforms.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in managing social media accounts for brands or businesses.
  • Strong skills in graphic design, particularly with Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, CANVA).
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and how social media can drive sales.
  • Experience using Planable or similar social media management tools.
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to analyze data effectively.
  • Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of advertising principles and best practices on social media platforms.
  • A passion for staying current with social media trends and emerging technologies.

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with Illustrator, and Photoshop or similar social media design tools is an asset
  • Experience in managing email marketing campaigns in Mailchimp, Active Campaign etc.
  • Experience with Google Analytics or other 3rd party reporting tools
  • Basic video editing for social reels
  • Experience with CRMs, our team uses MONDAY.COM
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement social media strategies that align with clients’ business goals.
  • Create, curate, and schedule high-quality content (text, images, video) across multiple platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and more.
  • Manage social media accounts, ensuring consistent branding and messaging.
  • Engage with online communities, responding to comments and inquiries in a timely manner.
  • Analyze social media performance metrics and provide actionable insights to improve engagement and reach.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and platform updates to ensure best practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with the content, design, and video production teams to create compelling campaigns.
  • Monitor and report on social media trends and competitor activities.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, including targeting, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Some travel may be required throughout the province, throughout Canada and internationally.
