SUMMARY

We are seeking a talented Marketing & Social Media Manager to join our dynamic team at Dolmen Construction. In this flexible, part-time role, you will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, enhancing our online presence through the launch of our new website, and creating a marketing plan to increase brand presence and recognition.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Excellent written communication skills with a keen eye for detail and proofreading abilities.
  • 2+ years experience in a Marketing Role (construction or design related experience is a bonus)
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role in digital marketing (construction or design related experience is a bonus)
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Ability to design and implement various marketing materials, including signage, print ads, client documents, etc.
  • Experience using social media management tools like Hootsuite to schedule posts and analyze performance metrics.
  • Note: One in-person weekly meeting is preferred, with the option to do the remainder of the work remotely.
    Please note that the 3-month contract requirement is flexible and will be based on performance. If tangible marketing goals are met and feedback is positive, this can potentially turn into a permanent part-time or freelance position.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals, including a pre-determined monthly schedule for all posts.
  • Set the schedule then publish all online marketing against the marketing calendar.
  • Create engaging content for various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Manage and share weekly the marketing calendar including all social, website and other promotions.
  • Create final copy and direct photo selection for new website, coordinating with the website design team with an aim to launch mid-August 2025.
  • Create marketing content, including direct to client (Client Wow Book, new client documents) and general (design on-site hoarding, signs, etc).
  • Book, confirm agenda and run a weekly Marketing & Social Media meeting with one of the owners.
  • Update website with new project photos / case studies as required
  • Create and publish monthly newsletter
  • Monitor social media channels for trends and audience engagement; respond to comments and messages promptly.
  • Analyze performance metrics to optimize campaigns and improve engagement rates.
  • Responsible for brand consistency across all digital and print platforms.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in social media marketing.
