Job Overview: We are looking for a creative, data-driven Social Media Specialist to join our dynamic team. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing social media strategies to enhance brand awareness, engagement, and customer interaction across various platforms. You will collaborate with marketing, communications, and creative teams to ensure content aligns with the company’s voice and goals.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
  • Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social media analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Instagram Insights).
  • Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and work independently.
  • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail and design.
  • Understanding of SEO, content marketing, and digital advertising principles.
  • Familiarity with influencer marketing and community management is a plus.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Experience with paid social media advertising (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, LinkedIn Ads, etc.).
  • Video editing skills (using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software).
  • Experience in data analysis and using social media analytics to improve strategy.
Responsibilities
  • Social Media Strategy & Management:
  • Develop and implement effective social media strategies across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Manage and optimize company social media accounts, ensuring content is consistent with brand voice and guidelines.
  • Create and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely posting and balanced content distribution.
  • Content Creation & Curation:
  • Design, write, and schedule engaging social media content (text, images, video) that resonates with the target audience.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create high-quality content that supports campaigns, promotions, and product launches.
  • Curate user-generated content and relevant third-party content that adds value to the community.
  • Community Engagement & Customer Interaction:
  • Monitor and engage with followers, responding to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Build and nurture relationships with online communities, influencers, and brand advocates.
  • Track and manage social media conversations to ensure the brand is portrayed positively.
  • Analytics & Reporting:
  • Analyze social media performance through insights and analytics tools, providing regular reports on key metrics (engagement, reach, impressions, etc.).
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize strategies, improve content, and refine social media tactics.
  • Keep up to date with social media trends, industry best practices, and emerging platforms.
  • Paid Social Advertising (if applicable):
  • Develop, execute, and manage paid social media campaigns (ads) to promote products, events, or brand awareness.
  • Monitor campaign performance, adjust targeting and budgets, and report on ROI.
  • Collaborate with Other Teams:
  • Work closely with marketing, design, and PR teams to align social media content with broader campaigns and initiatives.
  • Assist in developing campaigns and promotions that support business goals, including increasing web traffic, lead generation, and sales.
