Description

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a qualified Marketing Assistant who wants to build their skills and experience in our Bristol based marketing team. We are the world’s leading manufacturer of highly detailed, scale model cars for the motorsport and luxury car/supercar sectors. Predominantly but not exclusively working with digital marketing, you’ll be assisting with creating marketing assets, developing marketing initiatives, evaluating the effectiveness of current campaigns and identifying customer trends and marketing opportunities. This is initially a temporary role for 1 year to cover maternity leave, but with the possibility to become a permanent and additional role to the existing team.
Hybrid working has been embraced by our business and the role can be office based or predominantly remote as preferred, but candidates must be able to travel to the company’s office regularly when required (we are currently in BS7, but likely to relocate within Greater Bristol), with free, on-site parking .

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • A relevant degree or other tertiary qualification, and/or demonstrable experience in a similar marketing/communications role.
  • Digital Marketing skills including online advertising, email marketing, social media marketing and website management
  • Experience and knowledge of social media platforms
  • Strong business acumen and ability to adhere to budgetary requirements.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from top management, VIC customers and directors.
  • Strong organisation and project management skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrable ability to create content and copy
  • Basic Graphic Design Knowledge & Photo Editing Skills
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines when required
  • Adaptable and flexible, able to switch priorities and projects when required
  • Research skills [able to find information about cars online for content writing]
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the brand’s social presence, managing the day-to-day handling and content of the company’s social media channels.
  • Assisting in the generation of new and innovative marketing and business development ideas and programs
  • Collaborating with the global sales, project development and other teams internally on the development of offline and online marketing.
  • Developing, writing and delivery of a range of traditional and digital media.
  • Using a broad marketing skill set and staying up to date with marketing trends in order to capably assist in a range of marketing disciplines.
  • Assist the Marketing Manager to ensure integration and cohesiveness of all aspects of the brand message including: digital strategy/online marketing, traditional marketing, in-store collateral, brand content and PR.
  • Assist in delivering appropriate reports analysing the offline and online marketing results.
