JOB DESCRIPTION

About the Roles:
These two roles will serve as integral members of the marketing team. We are looking for two detail-oriented and
meticulous people to perform weekly audits on our main digital marketing channels, update website content, upload
marketing content and media onto our digital asset management library and perform monthly updates and content
optimization of our Google Business Profiles. These two people will be delighted to perform daily repetitive marketing
tasks and have good time-management skills. While creative design experience is not required, ability to edit photos
and video content is a plus.

Digital Asset Management (DAM):
One of the two roles will focus populating and managing our new Digital Asset System for Carmel’s portfolio of
approximately 40 properties. This system taxonomy has already been created, so the role will focus on execution and
ongoing optimization.
 Populate the Digital Asset System with a variety of visual marketing materials, including photos, videos, and
logos.
 Organize content within the DAM taxonomy to ensure optimal accessibility and usability.
 Tag assets with descriptive information to facilitate easy retrieval and enhance searchability.
 Perform minor editing on photos and videos to meet brand standards and enhance visual appeal.
 Develop expertise in the DAM, serving as the primary content librarian and resource for asset management.
 Recommend and implement ongoing enhancements to the DAM structure and taxonomy to improve efficiency
and effectiveness over time.
Monthly Marketing audit:
The second of the two roles will focus on auditing other digital systems. This includes monthly audits to confirm all
information on advertising sites is accurate and current by reviewing all active advertising (Apartments.com, Zillow.com,
ApartmentList.com, etc.), local business listings (including Google Business Profile, Google Map, Yelp, etc.), property
website. Main info audited:
 Pricing and availability
 Concessions and specials
 Photography/floorplan images
 Office hours, pet policy, and parking information
 Property description and amenities
 Site map/area map/directions
Monthly Lead Tracking audit
Audit all active lead tracking phone numbers and email addresses. This requires calling phone numbers to ensure they
ring through to property and submitting test leads via email to ensure the lead shows up in the lead management
system with the correct source attributed.
Administrative Support
 Handle simple edits and content changes on property website.
 Perform weekly audits for all new units published on property websites and Internet Listing Services
 Optimize Google Business Profile for each property with current concessions, pictures of new available units and
FAQs.
 Load marketing assets (video, images, graphic files) into the Digital Asset Marketing tool.
 Support the team with various administrative tasks.

Key systems:
A Marketing Assistant must have a good understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, digital library photos and be proficient
in Yardi/SiteManager system. Working knowledge of all digital marketing sources is also important to perform efficient
audits. Additionally, understanding website content management systems (CMS) is also essential for managing website
content updates.
