SUMMARY

We are seeking a Marketing Assistant to support with a variety of tasks, such as: Website management, Creation and scheduling of social media content, Planning for tradeshows, Development of product literature, Creation of sales training materials, Customer appreciation and Product sampling. This is an exciting opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and expanding company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • · Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and Google Suite are essential
  • Proficiency in WordPress and familiarity with graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite)
  • Experience with Canva or similar design tools is an asset
  • Experience with social media management
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking and willingness to contribute new ideas
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Responsibilities
  • Content creation for digital marketing, including social media posts, newsletters, and product launches
  • Assist in creating and executing outreach strategies via email, LinkedIn and cold calling
  • Help maintain and update the company website (WordPress) and optimize for SEO
  • Maintain and update marketing materials and contact lists
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies
  • Research industry events and tradeshows to identify sponsorship opportunities
  • Support the planning of tradeshow events, including logistics, booth setup and promotional materials
  • Participate in developing sales training and customer appreciation program
  • Manage sample inventory by coordinating sample stock requirements with suppliers
  • Package and ship samples to customers in a cost effective and timely manner
  • Assist with scheduling, filing and general administrative tasks
