SUMMARY

We are seeking a part-time Marketing Assistant to join our team at the DuPage County Area Project. In this role, you will support our marketing initiatives aimed at promoting our services and resources within the community. This position is vital in helping us reach families and enhance their engagement with our programs.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Marketing, Communications, or a related field experience is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and metrics effectively.
  • Proficiency in content creation, including copywriting and editing skills.
  • Familiarity with Canva or other creative design tools
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Experience with working with social media platforms
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing campaigns to promote community activities or volunteer opportunities.
  • Conduct research to identify trends and insights that inform marketing strategies.
  • Create engaging content for various platforms, including social media, email newsletters, and website updates.
  • Support email marketing efforts by managing lists and analyzing campaign performance.
  • Develop logos, marketing materials and flyers for youth clubs and events
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure brand consistency across all communications.
  • Help manage the organization’s online presence through website updates and social media engagement.
