Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a creative and enthusiastic individual to join a busy & successful family run firm. As the Marketing Assistant, you will be required to implement a wide range of marketing activities providing a pro-active, effective and efficient service for our customers.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Specific qualifications are not required but are desirable. The candidate should have excellent spelling and grammar with a keen attention to detail.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ideally able to use software such as Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Canva (although training will be given).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and take responsibility for their successful completion.
  • A professional, proactive and flexible approach to your work.

Responsibilities
  • Produce, prepare and maintain data sheets to enable accurate sales presentations. This will require strong attention to detail as this involves forms of competitor analysis.
  • Assist with the production and distribution of digital marketing assets such as imagery, videos, blogs, newsletters and infographics.
  • Creation and maintenance of CSV data files used to assist customers in adding products to their websites.
  • Research, draft and distribute various medias such as new products/services, product promotions & exhibition visits through Mailchimp and LinkedIn.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the GPC network of websites; content creation, data updates & general maintenance.
  • Proof reading catalogues and products on customers websites, which also includes communicating with them accordingly.
  • Assist with designing & amending catalogue pages
  • Help manage the preparation for conferences, exhibitions and trade shows.
  • Other duties required by the marketing team and other departments.
