This is a very rare and exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join Hitachi’s Global Marketing & Sales (GM&S) team, a high-profile corporate initiative at the very center of the Hitachi Group.
You’ll gain exposure to the whole of the Hitachi Group (600+ separate businesses) and will be connected to marketing teams across the globe. You’ll gain unparalleled insights into how we engage with and provide complex sustainable solutions to solve our global customers’ problems across energy, mobility, digital, healthcare, & industry domains.
Assisting the Head of Strategic Marketing, your mission is to enable the smooth running of the strategic marketing team on a day to basis. As well as providing support with administrative tasks, you’ll get the opportunity to provide ad-hoc support on marketing projects such as workshops and customer events and assist with internal and customer marketing programs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide general administrative support to the Head of Strategic Marketing team (e.g., scheduling meetings, preparing reports).

  • Organise team workshops and key engagements.

  • Help organize promotional events, trade shows, or webinars.

  • Day to day management of GM&S intranet updates.

  • Assist in the creation and scheduling of marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.

  • Support the production of marketing materials including brochures, flyers, and social media content.

  • Preparation of internal progress reports.

  • Liaise with external vendors, agencies, and freelancers as needed.

  • Assist in proofreading and editing copy to ensure accuracy and consistency.
