JOB OVERVIEW
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our marketing efforts, helping to develop and implement strategies that enhance our brand presence and engage our target audience. This position requires strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a passion for marketing.
This role is initially 25hrs spread over a flexible number of days in the office
Salary £28,000 pro rota
Experience:
Managing the customer phone line to facilitate all sales and marketing enquiries.
Processing sample orders, following up, analysing & reporting on product uptake.
Documenting all customer communications on the CRM software to facilitate effective collaborative working.
Working with the Commercial Director & external partners to produce communications to customers across all platforms. Working within brand guidelines to produce campaign assets and communications that are compliant and representative of the message being delivered.
Evaluation of campaign effectiveness via metrics reporting, lead generation, and ROI.
Assist with maintaining and developing the database and mailing lists.
Coordinate the administration of event attendance & prepare marketing and promotional requirements to support the event schedule.
Attend local & national events as and when required.
Support the sales team with administrative requirements.
Supporting the management & on-going development of website content, and other digital media.
Review and reporting on market trends, competitor activity and industry insights.
General administration of marketing inventory, orders, and invoices as required.
Support the administration associated with Public Tender opportunities as and when required.
Understanding the portfolio of products, and engagement in on-going development of product knowledge.
Skills and Qualifications Required:
Must be experienced in the use of creative packages such as Canva, InDesign, WordPress, and Adobe Photoshop Software.
Experience in maintaining social media accounts, website development, and content creation.
Use of email communication platforms such as Mailchimp.
A real passion for providing a high level of customer service.
2 years’ experience within a general marketing admin role.
Articulate, with a keen eye for attention to detail.
