JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a creative, organised and proactive Marketing Assistant to support the delivery of campaigns and brand communications across all areas of our historic Cornish hotel. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you’ll help drive visibility, engagement, and bookings by assisting in content creation, digital advertising, event promotion, social media, and email campaigns.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment, perfect for someone with an understanding of digital marketing and a flair for writing and visual content.

SKILLS:

• Strong written and verbal communication, including proofreading.
• Creative flair with knowledge of photography, video, and design tools (e.g. Canva, Photoshop).
• Working understanding of digital marketing (SEO, PPC, email, content).
• Data-literate: able to spot trends and analyse campaign results.
• Highly organised and able to manage multiple projects under pressure.

• Assist with marketing campaigns including email, social media, SEO, and PPC.
• Write engaging copy for blogs, emails, web, and print materials.
• Help plan and attend marketing photo/video shoots and occasional promotional events.
• Create and update content across platforms: website, email, Eventbrite, and third-party sites.
• Support the design of print collateral and in-house promotional material.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and Meta Insights.
• Collaborate with other departments to support their marketing needs and guest communications.
• Help maintain and apply our brand identity consistently across all channels.
