About DTA Australia

Part of the worldwide ARDEX Group of Companies, headquartered in Germany and operating across more than 60 countries, DTA Australia is a market leader in professional-quality tools, trims and building solutions.

For 50 years, DTA has serviced the tiling and flooring industries while continuing to expand its product offering across construction, safety and bathroom solutions. We are committed to innovation, quality and providing dependable products for both trade professionals and DIY customers.

About the role

We are seeking a commercially curious and proactive Marketing Assistant to join our team in Chelsea Heights.

Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, you will help deliver practical marketing activities that support customer engagement, product awareness and sales growth. This varied role combines marketing analytics, website project involvement, digital content, social media and campaign coordination.

You will work closely with the Sales, Marketing and Product teams, turning customer and campaign data into clear insights and practical actions.

Key responsibilities

  • Prepare reports and dashboards covering website traffic, campaign performance, customer behaviour, enquiries and social media engagement.
  • Analyse marketing data to identify customer trends, product interest and potential sales opportunities.
  • Support the Sales team with customer insights, presentations, promotional materials and lead follow-up.
  • Participate in website development and continuous-improvement projects.
  • Coordinate website content, product information, images, videos, downloads and landing pages.
  • Assist with website testing, SEO, accessibility, metadata and conversion improvements.
  • Develop and maintain a social media content calendar.
  • Draft, schedule and publish engaging product, educational and campaign content.
  • Support product launches, promotions, catalogues, email campaigns and trade events.
  • Coordinate marketing materials and check content for accuracy, consistency and brand compliance.
  • Undertake competitor, market and customer research.

About you

You will bring:

  • A qualification in marketing, communications, digital media or business, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience supporting digital marketing, social media, website content or campaign coordination.
  • The ability to interpret data and communicate clear findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong writing, proofreading and content-development skills.
  • Sound spreadsheet and digital reporting capabilities.
  • Excellent organisation, attention to detail and time-management skills.
  • A collaborative, customer-focused approach and confidence working with sales and product teams.

Experience with web analytics, SEO, CRM platforms, content management systems, email marketing, graphic design or video editing would be highly regarded. Exposure to construction, hardware, tools, flooring or another product-focused environment would also be beneficial.

Why join DTA?

This is an opportunity to build broad, practical marketing experience within an established Australian business backed by a successful global group. You will contribute to meaningful digital and website projects, work closely with experienced stakeholders and see how your work supports customers and sales outcomes.

If you are analytical, organised and excited by the opportunity to combine data, content and commercial marketing, we would like to hear from you.
